Thank you for choosing to work with me. The following outlines how bookings work for mentoring and manuscript assessments to ensure clarity and shared expectations from the start:
Payments
All services are invoiced in two equal instalments: the first is due at the time of booking and confirms your place; the second is due in the week prior to your manuscript assessment debrief or mentoring session. All prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST, which will be added to your invoice where applicable.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule, please give at least 48 hours notice and I will do my best to find a suitable alternative time. If you cancel after your initial payment has been made, that payment is non-refundable, though it may be credited toward a future booking at my discretion. If I need to cancel or reschedule for any reason, I will notify you as soon as possible and offer a full refund or alternative date.
Turnaround and Timing
I aim to deliver manuscript assessment reports within the timeframe agreed at booking. Timelines may be affected by circumstances outside my control, including illness or family commitments. I will always communicate delays promptly.
Confidentiality
Everything you share with me, i.e. your manuscript, your writing goals, and any personal context, is treated with complete confidentiality. I will not share your work or details of our engagement without your permission.
Services Agreement
All clients are required to sign a Services Agreement prior to commencement of work. This will be sent to you following your booking confirmation.
